Established in 2011, Chitkara School of Health Sciences (CSHS) is exclusively dedicated in imparting quality education for preparing future health care professionals (https://www.chitkara.edu.in/healthscience). The school envisions training and developing health care professionals who can create a difference in the quality of life of all those who require healthcare services. The course curriculum for the undergraduate and postgraduate students is a blend of theory, practical and clinical/industry exposure. The esteemed faculty and strong collaborations with industry leaders (national and international) have been the pillars of this successful journey through the last 10 years. The training with the industry helps to develop high degree of conceptual skills, analytical skills and quality technical knowledge base, preparing the students for hospitals/related healthcare domains. The school offer more than 14 UG/PG programmes in different domains including Allied Health Sciences (Medical Lab Sciences, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Operation theatre technology, Dialysis therapy technology), Optometry, Physiotherapy, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Nursing. The school also offer doctoral programmes in several domains of Health Sciences.
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Healthcare is an international peer-reviewed journal managed by Chitkara School of Health Sciencesand published by Chitkara University Publications of the Chitkara University, Punjab, India. Chitkara University is a leading non-profit university of India and it has been established with the clear mission to pursue excellence in all fields of education and to adhere to the highest standards of academic rigor in all its work.
Since its inception in 2014, the journal has been devoted to rapid publication of original research articles, survey reports, and reviews from all branches of healthcare, namely: healthcare management, optometry, nursing,and allied health sciences. However, since 2021, the journal has adhered to adoptinga double-blind peer review policy and also considers accepting original articles/review papers/case studies, and invited editorials for publication. The journal was founded and is currently being managed by distinguished editorial board members, who have extensive academic qualifications, ensuring that the journal maintains high standards of scientific publishing.
