Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Responsibility of the Author(s)

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Healthcare, along with its dedicated editorial team, places great emphasis on preserving academic integrity and upholding ethical standards within the realm of scholarly publishing. It takes serious action on issues related to plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data fabrication. An author’s work comprises the abstract, hypothesis, data collection, analysis, results, interpretations, summary, and conclusion.

The journal uses Turnitin plagiarism detection software to assess the originality of submitted manuscripts. Instances of substantial similarity (plagiarism) exceeding 10% are subject to rigorous evaluation by the Journal’s committee and Chitkara University Publications. In specific cases, this may result in a lifelong ban from submitting to the journal and the withdrawal of any benefits conferred upon the author(s).

Even when scientific misconduct is unintentional, it is imperative to recognize that breaches of publishing ethics can significantly harm a researcher’s reputation. Therefore, authors are responsible for ensuring that their work adheres to the highest ethical and academic publishing standards.

Responsibility of the Reviewer(s)

The Peer Review Policy and the role of reviewers are pivotal components of the publication process. The Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Healthcare follows a rigorous double-blind peer review system, overseen by the editor(s), who facilitate communication between reviewers and corresponding authors. Our reviewers are esteemed subject experts, selected by the editor(s) to assess the quality, significance, and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.

We emphasize that the review process must be conducted impartially and without unnecessary delays. In instances where meeting the deadline is challenging, reviewers are encouraged to communicate with the editor(s) to request an extension. Expert assessments and comments must be submitted through our online platform.

Reviewers are required to evaluate the submitted manuscript, including its textual content, figures, raw data, and any other relevant materials. If any components are missing, please contact the editor(s). To gain a comprehensive understanding of the reviewer’s responsibilities, please refer to the ethical guidelines available at:
